Lost Leo

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

Be on the lookout for Leo the cat, who went missing during neighbor Anne’s recent move:

We are missing our small tuxedo-colored 3-year-old cat Leo. He responds to Leo or his nickname Bubby. We live on Stratford Rd between Beverley and Cortelyou Roads.

If you happened to have seen him or know where he is, please give me a call at the number listed below. He is small in stature and timid at first but extremely gentle and sweet. And probably very frightened. We greatly appreciate your help and consideration.

Please contact Anne at 917-538-7413 if you have any information.

There are a number of similar-looking cats who come around Stratford between Cortelyou and Dorchester and neighbors feed them. Please post posters on that block and tell the night doorman in that big brick building on the east side of the street – folks in his building are the ones who feed the cats.

Around 5pm I walked past a tuxedo cat lying in the grass, sleeping on the side of the brick mansion/apt building on Stratford and Albemarle.

There are also similar-looking cats outside of John’s Bakery on Rugby Road. Those are probably the bakery’s cats, but maybe worth checking out?

Thanks to all of you who kept an eye out for Leo!  I’m happy to report he came back to us last night and is doing just fine!
