Help Paint a Mural Next Tuesday

Thursday, August 4th, 2011

The Groundswell Community Mural Project is partnering with the NYC Department of Transportation’s Office of Safety Education and its Urban Art Program (and thirteen young people) to create a mural at 338 East 5th Street at Church Avenue in Kensington.

Next week, on Tuesday, August 9, the whole community is invited help paint. Volunteers are welcome to join the crew from 11am to 2pm at the mural site. Read more info about the project at the Kensington Prospect.
