Best Wings in Brooklyn

Brooklyn Based is having a Best Wings in Brooklyn cook-off tomorrow from 3-7pm at Red Star Bar, with Marty Markowitz announcing the winner – and had our hopes up when noticed that there was a Flatbush entry – “Wing Wagon”- only to discover, that its actually located on Flatbush by 7th Avenue … I’m having a really hard time believing that there is not a single wing-joint in Flatbush, Ditmas Park or Kensington, that could have made the list. Anyone?

    Got inexcusably undercooked french fries at Wing Wagon the one time I visited and never returned. The wings were okay but I’ve had better.

    There is a lamentable dearth of wings in this area that must be rectified. Solo bar on Cortelyou says they’re opening their kitchen in a month or so. Will they answer the call?
