Jump on the Cart

The Ox Cart Tavern is starting up a twice-monthly DJ night tomorrow, and it will include free snacks:

Chef David invites you to “Jump on the Cart” every 2nd & last Thursday of the month to chill with free hors d’oeuvres, live DJ classic root rock reggae sounds of Swing-A-Ling Soundsystem & no cover charge! Open party kicks off tomorrow at 10pm, December 8th, and lasts, well…until it’s over! Normal kitchen service stops at 9:30pm on “Jump On the Cart” nights to make way for David’s free-flowing vittles.

    I really wish Oxcart would expand. Such a great place and it can be very hard to get a table. Clearly there is great demand for a place like Oxcart and I really wish they could accommodate more business.

    We would go weekly if there was an oxcartish tavern on Church!

    We go to Oxcart about once per week as it is and it’s usually crowded. Assuming this “Jump on the Cart” promotion is successful, I’m not sure where they’ll put all the new customers.

    I just with they’d open for breakfast on weekends.

    We’d go on weekend mornings if they opened in time for the Premier League matches.

    Defintely plan to be there for Saturday’s Madrid-Barcelona Classico.

    Oxcart is our favorite.  We have waited as long as 45 minutes for a table.  Food is definitely worth it.  But I agree – it would be great if it could expand.
