Doctor Needed

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

A neighbor in need emails:

I come down with strep throat. I’m new to the area and need to find a doctor. I’ve walked past the walk-in clinics on Foster Ave and they seem a little crowded and well a little grimy. Any other walk-in clinics around the area or doctor offices?

The local Dr. I’ve been using that’s within walking distance, I found on the oxford website. Her name is Dr.Mitzi A Reid, located at 941 Ocean Ave. (at Ditmas Ave)#718.469-8492

I’ve never had a problem getting an appointment right away.
She likes to prescribe the 10 day variety of amoxicillin, however. Next time I’m there I’m going to request a Z-pack or anything that’s less then 10 days worth of meds…
