Support
CAMBA’s Holiday Food Drive
October and November 2010

CAMBA is a Flatbush based non-profit agency that helps connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life. It is one of my favorite local non-profits, as they make a very real difference in the lives of people right here, and I hope that you will consider supporting by donating food for the food pantry this fall, and if you can – do consider donating money as well. They truly are extraordinary, and very good at what they do. Here is what they need:

You can help! To keep our doors open, we need the following:

· Rice
· Beans
· Fruit
· Vegetables
· Canned Tuna/Salmon
· Pasta
· Canned or dried milk
· Canned chicken
· Peanut butter
· Cereal
· 100% fruit juice

Food can be dropped off at any of the following CAMBA locations in Brooklyn:

1720 Church Avenue, 2nd Floor

885 Flatbush Avenue, Room 202

19 Winthrop Street

2103 Kenmore Terrace

Park Slope Women’s Shelter – 1402 8th Avenue

To organize a food drive or another activity to support our pantry and/or raise hunger awareness, please contact Lucila (LucilaS@camba.org) or Hayley (HayleyK@camba.org) at 718-282-3082. Cash donations welcomed, for more information please visit our website at http://www.camba.org.

This is so timely for us! We were planning to do a food drive in the next couple months at Urban Martial Arts but I wasn’t sure which organization to partner with. We’ll definitely be in touch with CAMBA.
