Fire Over San Remo (UPDATED)

A neighbor, James, sends in these photos from the fire on the third floor above San Remo.
Community Board 14 Chairman Alvin Berk writes that two officers from the 70, Sgt. Ed Kraemer and PO Tim Sullivan, were in San Remo, smelled smoke, ran upstairs, and got people out of the apartments. He’s told that no civilians were hurt, but that Sgt Kraemer suffered minor burns and inhalation and was treated at Maimonides Medical Center.
The damage to the building was extensive, including the pizza place, which suffered a lot of water damage.
