Gehry building

I know this is not strictly speaking Ditmas Park stuff, but the newly completed Frank Gehry building on Westside Highway does look best from a distance. Up close, from a pedestrian point of view – it is a horrible addition to the neighborhood. Gehry’s buildings may fit right in a car dominated environment like LA, but the more I think about it – not in a pedestrian friendly Brooklyn.
