Steve – why the Brownstoner hate? Without one of their open house picks I might still be living in the burbs. I am forever indebted. Re San Remo, to make up for my diss on the pizza delivery last night, we also really like their papardelle with smoked mozzarella. In fact it’s the only thing our 5yo wants to eat when we go there.

I despise Brownstoner, but I like San Remo a lot and hope the publicity is good for them.

And then my pizza delivery took 50 minutes and it was stone cold on arrival. Bummer! I have only myself to blame – never order delivery from a restaurant that’s just been written up.

We were just there, and 5 of us all ordered the dish Brownstoner featured – Eggplant Marinara. It’s fantastic – baked eggplant and spinach, covered in their delicisous marinara sauce, served with salad or pasta, and really fresh Italian bread.

We really like San Remo.
